Bella Composer Benefit Concert

I managed to capture a few images at the Bella Composer Benefit Concert. It featured smoking' performances by Bunny Brunel, Kaylene Peoples, Patrice Rushen, Clayton Cameron, Tony MacAlpine, Doug Webb, Mark Hammond, and Monette Marino.

It was my first time seeing Patrice live and it definitely will not be the last. Bunny introduced her as one of the few who can hang with Chick Corea and he wasn't lying. Her rhythm was on point and her solos and phrasing were very classy. Tom Brechtlein killed the solo on Stratus, while Bunny drove it home with Tony MacAlpine, in true CAB form. Doug Webb almost blew the roof off of the dusty and crusty Catalina's Jazz Club scene, which was a rare yet refreshing experience.
